The Medicine Buddha sits at the center of his mandala palace surrounded by deities, rishis and monks. The palace has four gates opening to the four cardinal points and is in a garden of medicinal herbs and minerals used in Tibetan medicine.
The Medicine Buddha rebalances and restores health, purifies, and relieves suffering of the living and the dead. His body is a healing lapis color, he holds a bowl of healing nectars and a medicinal plants. His mantra 'Teyata om bekandze bekanzde maha bekandze radza samu gate soha'.
