Chenrezig represents compassion, and is the first Bodhisattva. His four arms represent the four immeasurable loving kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity; he holds a wish fulfilling jewel at his heart representing bodhicitta. Depicted above are the five Dhyani Buddhas, below are Manjushri and Vajrapani. Chenrezig's mantra is 'Om Mani Pad Me Hum'.
