Chakrasamvara, whose name translates to 'Wheel of Bliss', is depicted with yogini consort Vajravahari and is one of the principle deities in Vajrayana tantra. Their embrace is a metaphor of bliss and emptiness. His four faces represent enlightened activities: pacifying, magnetizing, enriching, and destroying. His twelve arms hold ritual objects that symbolize the link to the Wheel of Life. He is depicted surrounded by dakinis and the wrathful protector Mahakala below.
